The easiest way to track any vehicle in your fleet is to install a GPS tracking device on it, then connect it to a fleet management software. In the case of Mapon Basic solution, you simply need to put the tracker on a car battery, then register it in the Mapon platform. The live location of the vehicle will be available on an interactive map.

We've added detailed instructions to every order. In essence, you stick the device to the battery facing forward with a double-sided adhesive, connect the red wire to the battery’s positive terminal, the black wire to the negative terminal, and that’s it – a green diode will light up!  

When a vehicle is used regularly, the power drawn from a GPS tracker is typically negligible and should not significantly impact the vehicle's battery. However, if the tracking device remains active while the vehicle is not in use for extended periods, it can slowly drain the battery, though it would take a long time to noticeably affect anything.
